Generates a concise creative brief that tells the photo/video team and internal stakeholders
about the client's brand and strategy. It gives P/V what they need for a moodboard or shot list, doubles as the quick
read for internal reviews, and the same run can build the client-facing strategy deck.

Photo/video: the client's business, goals, offer, restrictions, and a net-new shot list, all in one place.
Internal reviews: the whole plan on 3–5 pages, including budget, campaign structure, creative direction by service, and open items.
Client Gemini Notebook, first thing on page 1: a direct link and an Open notebook button to every call recording, transcript and meeting summary for the account.
It says plainly when no meeting notes were found, so nobody mistakes guesses for the client's words.
For the client (optional)
A short strategy deck in the Drive Social template covering what we'll run, why it fits, and what's held for later.
It's written in plain language, with no agency jargon.
Once the ads exist, the same deck becomes a Creative Review deck.
⚙ What it needs
No connectors are required. Claude builds the PDF and deck on its own.
A Creative PackageRequired
The <Client>-Creative-Package.md from Creative Strategy (Run 2). The brief presents that plan and never re-decides it.
The client's Claude ProjectRecommended
Run it inside the client's Project so it can read your meeting notes and call summaries. The owner's own words then make it into the brief.
Client Gemini Notebook linkRecommended
Every internal brief opens with a Client knowledge base box linking to the client's Gemini Notebook. The skill looks for the link
in the chat, the client's Project, the client folder and the Creative Package, and asks only if it can't find one. No notebook? The brief still builds,
with an amber "link not provided" notice in that spot so the gap is easy to see. The link goes in the internal brief only, never the client deck.
Help me connect Google Drive to Claude from the connector directory (Settings → Connectors → Google Drive) using my Drive Social Google account. When it's connected, confirm by listing five of my most recent Drive files.
★ Keep a Gemini Notebook for every client
Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM) is a great place to keep each client's call transcripts and Gemini AI
meeting summaries. When another Drive Social employee picks up the account, or joins it for future creative work, the notebook brings them up to speed
on the client's creative direction and past deliverables without a hand-off meeting.
Keep it up to date. Add each new call transcript and Gemini summary to the client's notebook after the meeting.
Share it with all Drive employees. Create it in the company Google Workspace account and share it company-wide, so the link in the brief opens for anyone on the team.
One notebook per client. The brief links to it on page 1, so photo/video, web and AS peers all start from the same source.
Open a new Cowork chat, attach the file, and paste:
Attached is the SKILL.md for a skill called creative-brief (v1.1). Please update my creative-brief skill with this file exactly as written. Do not rewrite, shorten, or reformat it. If I don't have a creative-brief skill yet, create it from this file. Show me the review card so I can save it.
A card appears in the chat. Click Save, and /creative-brief works in any Cowork chat after that.
▶ How to run it
Open the client's Project in Claude and start a new chat. Attach <Client>-Creative-Package.md
and type /creative-brief.
Pick the document. It asks: Internal Creative Brief (PDF), Client-Facing Strategy Deck
(PowerPoint), or both. If the ads are already made, it also offers a Creative Review deck.
It tells you which meeting notes it found. If it found none, it says so plainly and prints the same notice in the brief.
It asks for monthly ad spend (Meta, plus Google if that's part of the program) when the spend isn't already in the package or notes.
For the internal brief, it finds the client's Gemini Notebook link. If it can't, it asks in the same message as the other questions. Paste it, or say you don't have one.
You get the files in the chat, also saved in the client folder under brand/briefs/. Share the
internal PDF with the photo/video team, or drop it in the client's Slack channel.
i Good to know
Internal stays internal. Budget shortfalls, open questions and the notebook link live only in the PDF. The client deck keeps budget to one gentle slide, at most.
Links stay live. The notebook link and button work when the PDF is opened from Drive, Gmail, Slack or a desktop PDF viewer.
Tip: share each client notebook with all Drive employees ahead of time, so the link in the brief opens for everyone on the team.
Revisions are quick. Ask for the change in the same chat, and it edits and rebuilds in seconds.
↻ What's new in v1.1 Sep 30, 2026
Client knowledge base box on every internal brief. The client's Gemini Notebook sits right under the header table on page 1, with a direct link and an Open notebook button.
Finds the link on its own. It checks the chat, the Project, the client folder and the Creative Package before asking, and asks alongside the other intake questions, never as a separate stop.
Visible when missing. With no notebook, the brief prints an amber "link not provided" notice instead of leaving the gap unnoticed.
